15 Reasons 90’s Kids Had The Best T.V. Shows

Think back to when you were a kid and what shows you watched. Different generations of kids go through different phases of t.v. shows, but if you watch the kids shows today, most of them are horrible. Here are the reasons why we 90’s kids had the best T.V. shows growing up:

15. The Big Comfy Couch taught us how to tell time AND got us to exercise. Well played, Loonette the Clown…well played.

14. Blue’s Clues showed us how to actually send “snail mail.”

13. Teletubbies made us believe that the sun was a terrifying baby. It’s okay, they tricked me too.

12. Mr. Rogers made us believe that he was talking to each one of us.

11. CatDog taught us that anything is possible.

10. The Amanda Show made us think that going to court would be fun, ’cause there would be dancing lobsters.

9. The old Spongebob made us realize that being ourselves is better than trying to just get attention all of the time.

8. Here’s another Spongebob just for good measure because he also taught us that “Krusty krayayab krayayab pizza, is the pizza, man, for you and me-ee-eee.”

7. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air gave us “the Carlton.”

6. Saved By The Bell showed us that the popular kids and the dorks can actually get along and be friends: Zach, Slater, and Screech

5. Hey Arnold made wearing a banana look good, which made it a staple Halloween costume every year.

4. Obviously, we all just learned a lot from Bill Nye The Science Guy.

3. Rugrats reminded us of how we should act as kids… some carry this on through college.

2. The Magic School Bus told us that it is okay to be super weird because sometimes adults are too.

1. And finally, the icon of the era: The Simpsons gave us, as children, our first look of what college would do to us years in the future. Sadly, it is spot on for some people.
