There are many downsides to going home for Spring Break while you hear about your entire campus going to Florida for seven days of drunken debauchery. However, there is one thing that I am looking forward to when I go home to the perfectly manicured lawns of suburbia: my bed.
Not my bed that I have in my sorority. That thing gets the job done, but it is nothing like the real deal. Beds, if you will roll with this simile here, are kind of like boyfriends or girlfriends.
A really good bed makes every moment worth it, but a terrible bed leaves you with feelings of regret, anger and an “I’m never doing that again,” mindset. I truly believe that every college student’s bed that they have at home is like a good partner. In fact, I think our home beds should be considered our first true love. I mean, hellooo, they are made for sleeping, which is enough reason to love them already. Don’t believe me? Here are 20 more reasons why I think your bed at home is your first true love.
20.) It always supports you… literally
19.) Your bed just gets you, and it knows how to adjust to your needs (i.e. how it perfectly forms to your body without a doubt and how to make it impossible for you to get out of it)
