The Five Reasons You Become Homesick During the First Week of College
When you're finally moved in for college life, you sometimes think of home. Here are 5 reasons why you become homesick during the first week of college.

College. Throughout senior year of high school, mostly everyone counts down the days until they move into greater independence that is college. Once in college, you may find yourself reminiscing about the glory days of high school and living at home, just for a little while because college truly is as chill as it gets.

Here are some of the things that cause you to momentarily become homesick during the first week of college:

5. Sharing A Room With Others

I was fortunate to have a room to myself growing up since a younger brother is the only sibling I have. It was a pretty nice setup. One big bed, one big closet, and one person who decided when to turn out the lights. In the beginning, I had no idea how I would handle sharing a room with not one person, but two people. However, my roommates have been a complete blessing so far this year. They’ve become good friends of mine who I can hang out with just about anytime and people I can also confide in with almost anything and everything. I wouldn’t trade my current living situation for any other.
