Ten Things That Make The TCU Football Experience Special

Every college does football differently. Clemson has their players run down a hill and touch a rock for good luck. Wisconsin rocks out to “Jump Around” at the beginning of every fourth quarter. TCU has the best of both worlds experience, combining the small school population with a powerhouse program currently ranked in the top five.

10. Every Student Gets A Seat

This is not the norm in big-time college football. The main reason for that is because most of the top college football teams are humongous state schools with a tradition for satisfying their boosters, so some of their student body gets stuck on the outside of the stadium while their classmates and friends are playing the game on the inside. Not at TCU. They made sure to build a student section big enough to where any and every student who wants to come to the game can come to the game.

9. Students Get In Free

Another con of going to a big school who happens to have big time football, like Alabama, LSU, or Ohio State is having to pay a premium to attend the home games. According to the LSU Athletics website, a student has to pay $126 dollars to buy a season ticket package to attend all of their home games this year. At TCU, students just swipe their id’s for $0.00 and get to come to every single home game free and easy, which results in saving their students a lot of money.
