Being an avid reader has so many benefits from learning new words to escaping the chaotic reality of your life and entering into someone else’s, even if they are only a fictional character. We become captivated and invested into people’s lives who don’t even really exist, or maybe they did at one point in history. We’re the kinds of people who start reading a book and our friends don’t hear from us for days on end. We’re those people who just cannot put the amazing book we just bought yesterday down, and there are some things only we will ever understand!
