8. I have so much time left. This lie we usually say to ourselves rather than other people. You know you have 18 pages due in two days but in your head 2 days is 48 hours, which is 2,880 minutes. “It only takes like 15 minutes for each page so I’m good.”
7. I’m just gonna wake up early before class and finish. You’ll get the same amount of sleep whether you do it now or later. But if you do it later, you can sleep now. It’s a great plan until you realize that 5am you could care less about philosophy or deadlines. Not going to happen.
