14 New Jersey Stereotypes That Are True

I’m from the state that is the most made fun of in all the country. It’s been called the armpit of America, and people laugh that its nickname is the “Garden State.” That’s right, I’m from New Jersey.

When I went out of state for school, I was hit with a slew of untrue stereotypes, from “New Joisey” to asking where my tan was. I was, however, confronted with a few exaggerated stereotypes that happen to be completely fair.

Here’s 14 New Jersey stereotypes that are pretty accurate. Out-of-staters, beware.

14) We drive like maniacs. And we’re damn proud of it.
