15. Procrastination- WE ALWAYS put our work off for the last minute, and honestly writing a 20 page paper on something you barley know anything about, with 10 different sources will make you rip all your hair out at 2 am.
14. Half- Assed- We eventually get tired of writing, researching, and editing so a majority of the time the paper is probably not even English.
13. Time Management- You’re a busy college student, that date with Netflix starts at 8 pm and you cannot be late! Time management leads to procrastination, and balancing clubs, sports, work, classes, and other activities can lead you to forgetting work.
12. You Really Don’t Understand It- We’ve all had that assignment where we really have no idea what’s going on.
11. Editing- Going through and re-reading your essay and making sure everything is the way it should be just makes you so impatient. IS IT OVER YET?? Oh, and half the time there is over 3,000 mistakes in it anyway (according to your teacher)
10. Losing Train Of Thought- ……. What was I writing about???? I forgot what I told my teacher I was doing my project on.
9. Bored- Writing, writing, and more writing about something you can care less about just gets…… sooooo…. boring!
8. Lazy- You really just lack all motivation to write, read, or research anything that you would rather be eating Ben & Jerry’s in bed.
7. Other Homework- Your other homework that is also due tomorrow is more important… Or you generally just have a bunch of assignments due besides the one paper.
6. End Up Re-Writing- A majority of the time (or if lucky) you rushed to get your paper done for no reason because your teacher either extends the assignment or has you start all over.
5. Not Enough Time- Your teacher gives you only a day or two to do the paper and you would rather take the failing grade… Due to your busy life.
4. Distractions– Sitting on your laptop involves you listening to music, looking up YouTube videos, eating, and texting friends. Too many distractions are in your way and it takes 3 hours to finally start your paper.
3. You’ve Done Something Similar- You are repeating basically the same assignment you did for your final in a class last semester and trying to change everything gets old.
2. Patience- We don’t have the attention span to sit at our computer, research and write about something with so little time and so many distractions.
1. Word Count- Literally you’re always trying to find 10 more words that make it into your 1,000 word count or whatever number you’re given.
