15. Social media is practically your best friend. You live tweet everything and retweet articles like it’s second nature. When you first signed up for Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. you probably never imagined putting those on your resume.
14. People expect you to keep them informed about all forms of news (entertainment, politics, business, etc.). You always seem to know what’s going on and are like a walking newsstand.
13. New York City is like a wonderland to you. It’s the media capital of the world so you’ve probably envisioned yourself working for NBC or some other major news company at some point in your life.
12. You have no problem moving for your job. You’ll take a job wherever you can get it even if that means moving to a small town in North Dakota.
11. The phrase “don’t talk to strangers” doesn’t apply to you. You’ve gotten so used to man on the street interviews and approaching random people around campus for statements that your mom would practically disown you for how many times you’ve talked to strangers.
10. You obsess over a low battery more than anyone you know. You wouldn’t dare go out with a low battery on your camera, recorder, or cell phone. The last thing you need is to be in the middle of an interview and realize that every battery has died so you have no notes or record of anything.
