19 Things I’ve Learned So Far As A Sophomore

1. Not everyone is going to like you and you’re not going to like everyone

2. Take advantage of the times you get to eat real food… dining hall food sucks

3. The most unplanned nights are always the best

4. Don’t waste time with people who won’t give you the time of day

5. Stop being so serious all the time- You’re in between being an adult and still being a kid, embrace it

6. There is no cure for procrastination

7. Be open minded- not everyone you meet is going to be exactly like you

8. Stop seeking approval- If you like something then do it

9. Beer is good; the amount of calories in beer is not

10. Naps are essential

11. Dining Hall brunch after a night out is mandatory

12. Everything is what you make of it

13. Sometimes the pregame is better than the party

14. Don’t just agree with everything people say, have your own opinions

15. Common sense is necessary

16. Mac and cheese makes for great post party food

17. Sunday’s are reserved for homework and football (and naps)

18. Friendship is a two way street- If they don’t put in the effort then they’re not worth it

19. Be yourself (as if you haven’t heard that one before)
