Throw it all out. There’s no need to keep the evidence of toxic relationships.
I know you need closure, and I know you think reading through years worth of letters from someone from your past will give you that, but it won’t. Sometimes we have to create our own closure by destroying the evidence that it happened and move on with our lives.
Keep a bottle of water and a bottle of Advil in your bedside drawer.
This is a game changer to every morning after a night out. It’s the mornings you think you’ll be fine because you really didn’t drink that much that you’ll really need the hangover first-aid kit. Always be prepared.
Find your niche, but realize that it’s going to change.
You may think you know what you want to do for the rest of your life at age 14, but you’ll realize that it’ll change a couple times before you really decide. You’ll learn to add and subtract things to your niche, so make it expandable. Changing your mind isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but make sure you always have goals to work towards.
Everything in life is temporary- the good and the bad.
The hard time you’re going through right now will pass, as everything does. Be upset, get angry, pick yourself back up, and get over it because it’ll be over soon. Realize, too, that good things are also always temporary. Take advantage of what you have right now and enjoy every second of it before it’s gone.
