When you’re 18-years-old and off to college, I think most of the time, you’re just grateful to have any car at all. At that age, style doesn’t matter as much as the fact that you have a moving vehicle, and thus, you have freedom.
Some kids with rich parents get sent off to college in nice, new cars. The rest of us had to settle for whatever we could get (and count ourselves lucky that we got anything at all!) That’s why, when you visit any college campus, you’re pretty much guaranteed to see all these makes and models in the very first parking lot you come across.
