20 Things Radford University Students Would Understand (3)

8) Everyone dreads having to live in Muse, but most freshman end up there visiting their friends.

Muse

Muse is the freshman dorm that is 13-floors and houses 950 students. Luckily, I won’t be living in Muse, but I’ve heard the have a dining facility that serves steak. It is the tallest building on campus and can be seen from anywhere. The elevators also stop working a lot so if you live on the 10th floor…sorry.

6) “Do you live on dark side?” – “Dark side” has less lights than “light side.” It’s also said that “dark side” is more quieter than “light side,” but some students say they don’t feel as safe on “dark side” because it isn’t as well lit.

5) “Do you live on light side?” – “Light side” is literally more lit than the other side of campus; lit as in turnt and bright. Many former Highlanders have said that “light side” has a lot more parties, probably because the Greek houses are on that side. Also known as “7/11 side.”
