Seventh grade was defined by acne, puberty. raging hormones, and most importantly Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah season. Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah season was HYPE as a child. I rocked my crazy dresses, purple eye shadow, and awkward snowball with the guy I was legit crushing on forever.
You did not even have to be Jewish to join in on the hora, the traditional challah slicing, drunk family members lifting people up in chairs, and never ending Mazel Tovs.
