5 Types of Group Chat Conversations All Girls Have

You go to check your phone and you have 200+ group texts. At first you think someone died… then you realize (Insert name here) just wanted to know what everyone was wearing out tonight.

5. “Who’s driving tonight?” – When all your friends are home on break everyone wants to take part in the fun meaning, no one ever wants to drive. This usually sparks some sort of disagreement. In the end, someone offers because they’re sick of watching their phone blow up with 100 texts per minute. God bless the person who takes one for the team, it’s never easy.

4. “Who’s house can we pre-game at?”– Not necessarily a fight, but it can become a heated discussion. (Insert name here) can’t because her parents are hosting a small gathering at their house, while (Insert name here)’s parents are sick. You’ll be struggling trying to find somewhere to pre-game until (Insert name here) comes to the rescue and says everyone can come to her house. THX girl, you rock.

3. “What party are we going to?”– When you’re home and actually have options (a rare occurrence) things can go zero to 100 reaalllll quick. You’ll either split up depending on who wants to go where or you’ll take one for the team OR you’ll go to both. (The chances you’ll take one for the team are unlikely because you’re probably stubborn AF, but hey, I don’t know your life.)

 2. “Where should we go to dinner/what time?”- These are the worstttt, go grab a snack and watch the conversation unfold. Who isn’t available until 8 p.m. and who wants to eat at 6 p.m. And forget about asking where everyone wants to eat. One person is in the mood for pizza, while the other one wants Greek food. Remember this friend group is a democracy so you’ll probably end up at the sushi place as usual ordering scorpion bowls and fried rice. Enjoy!

1. “What’re you guys wearing tonight?”– This happens at least three times a week if not more when you’re all going to the same place. I mean it’s a valid question. Leggings or jeans? Long sleeves or short sleeves? Are you going to wear shorts and long sleeves or jeans and short sleeves? What’s the weather going to be like? Point being, being a girl is hard. The best way to decide is to find out what everyone else is wearing first, then get dressed.
