6 Reasons To NOT Date A Co-Worker

Sometimes people develop feelings for a co-worker of theirs. Although it may make working more fun, it’s a bad idea. Unless it’s someone you’re serious about it, it’s a poor choice to make. It’ll be a waste of time unless you want him putting a ring on it in 4-7 years. Look no further:

6. Having to look cute every shift. Who wants to curl their hair to go to the dreadful place we call work? Or have to put a whole face of make-up on? You’re just working at a fast causal food place or an office desk and then on top of that have to wear an ugly uniform or dress clothes everyday? But you got to do it because you know he will be there. Whether you and your dude are in the beginning stages of flirting or in the honeymoon phase of actually being boyfriend and girlfriend, every girl tries to look super cute anywhere he will be. Of course it’s always good to have a pleasant appearance everywhere you go, but you try extra hard when men are involved. Us females could save about 30 minutes before work if we didn’t feel the need to look cute. That could be snack time, naptime, a Starbucks trip or even a quick homework session.

5. Are you even working? When we find out we are working with a guy we are talking to we get nervous, yet so excited. The whole shift instead of focusing on customers and actual work needing to be done, we gravitate toward flirting and conversations. Managers sometimes notice slacking off and tell you to step it up and we get embarrassed. Of course, though, we go right back to doing it just the way were. Why? Boys.
