4. Failing at hiding it from others. You agree to keep it on the DL at work, but it becomes a rumor and then both sides are getting questioned. Your answers are always, “Nah, we are just friends,” or just laughing, “What the heck? Why would you think that?” Denying is the universal answer. But, when you’re following each other around the store or office trying to make conversation the whole time people begin to think something is up. Or the best is when someone notices you’re both gone for a while. That’s how the rumors start. You did that one to yourself.
3. It can make things awk or uncomfortable. Be ready to get called out a lot by fellow employees at work. All your friends you work with are happy for you guys, but there are always those people who just shit on you about it. Managers look down at you for dating inside the company or think its weird. Some places aren’t accepting of it at all and it’ll turn out that either one of you needs to quit. The whole situation is kind of awkward.
