6 Thoughts You Have While Trying to Save Money (2)

3.) “Why Didn’t I Start This Earlier?”

Ah. I see.

You are back on track now and things are looking good. You have abstained from spending too much money and your piggy bank is getting fatter and fatter as the weeks go by. As a matter of fact, things are going so well you can’t help but ask yourself “what took me so long to do this?” You try not to torture yourself with the numbers, but you can’t help but realize that if you started saving a year ago, that fancy new car would be yours already. My advice is to use this as motivation. If you know that you could already have what you wanted if you would have started earlier, it goes without saying you will be able to achieve your goal if you stick with it!

2.) “It Couldn’t Hurt to Spend Some Money.”

Just a Little Bit

You have sat in that damn dorm room for too long, and you are starting to lose it. If you don’t get out there and do something reckless with your money you are going to absolutely explode, you can just feel it; but you don’t want to have to wait another couple of weeks for your prize. At this point, you have to choose whether you take the high road or the low. Invite some friends over for board games, or go out for a night of wild drinking?

1.) “Worth It!”

Celebrate my Friend!

Okay, so you went out for drinks and set your master plan back by a few weeks. Whatever, the important thing is that you have made it! The object of your desire is finally yours, and what makes it even better is that you made it happen yourself. Getting gifts is great and all, but nothing compares to the feeling you get after you yourself make something big happen. Congrats!
