Why You Shouldn’t Sleep In When You Don’t Have Early Classes

Even as a freshman I can already tell how easy it is to make the two days where I don’t have class until 4pm feel like added weekends. Wake up at noon, maybe read a chapter for a class, get brunch, watch some Netflix, and bam! It’s 4pm and you really didn’t accomplish much. So here are some incentives to get you moving from one total non-morning person to the next:

7. It will help you stay on a sleeping schedule. – When you stay up really late one night and then have to go to bed hours earlier the next you’re going to spend a lot of time tossing and turning and then not get enough sleep for your morning class the next day.

6. You’ll be more productive without the grogginess of too much sleep. – Part of the reason you’re not getting much done when you oversleep is because of that dazed feeling.
