By looking through each movie’s story line and filming locations, they found the most appropriate location to place them on the map. It could be where the fictional school was located, like Harrison University from Old School or South Central Louisiana State University from The Waterboy. When the fictional school location isn’t specifically stated, then they looked at where the movie was actually filmed, such as Animal House being filmed at the University of Oregon.
