Has anyone ever told you a party story so great that it fills your body with excitement making you wish you were there? Do you have that amazing drink recipe bottled up in a small group that you wish you could tell so many more people? Well we’ve created an “all smiles,” drama free social network where you can do so.
My name is Mike Foschino, founder of BYOStory. I’m ex-military and currently a chef living in New York, but with a view on life anyone can appreciate; Life is too short and every day should be spent like it’s your last. The idea of BYOS popped into my head one day while telling a story of a Beer Olympics party I hosted. Then it came to me, a party isn’t about drinking excessive amounts just to have a good time, it’s about spending time with friends, family, even meeting new people, having drinks, playing games, munching on some good food, and simply enjoying life. It was at that time, the mission of BYOS became clear to me.
Our mission is to open the world to the creative minds of fellow partygoers. Everyone has those ideas, those stories, those concoctions and activities created with the help of a little bit of beer and we want to share them. Our main idea is to create a new social network aimed at college aged people to go to for party ideas, drink recipes, music playlists, and a good read once in a while, rather than a social media network filled with horrible news and overloaded with drama. Our ultimate goal is to get BYOStory’s name out across the entire network of colleges, fraternities, and sororities. Eventually, we plan to host events at colleges, providing themes, advertisement, music, photographers, bartenders, etc. An ideal result for us would to be the main hosts of annual Beer Olympics’ at campuses all around the country. Our mission is only possible with the help of promoters, fraternities and sororities across the country, it’s a company created by the people, for the people.

Homepage showing all top content and navigation
Story Book which will include all submitted party stories, being
updated daily
The Drink Lab to include all different kinds of cocktails, shots, etc
Game Time which will be a list of staple party games, rules, and
variations, as well as newly created games
Pick a Theme which will have every theme idea anyone can think of
with decoration ideas and pictures
The DJ Zone where members will be able to upload and download
music playlists and DJ’s will be able to advertise themselves for hire, or just to get their name out there. Now obviously were in need of content to begin our story book, so here is where we need all of your help. I mean who wouldn’t want to take some credit in the start up of what could be the newest big time social media? So here is exactly what we’re looking for:
-Party Stories- we want to hear any of your crazy party stories, weather something happened to you personally or maybe it was just an epic night that people need to hear about, tell us. Make sure to include where the party happened. Use this to show off how hard your school goes. Try to get it to be a top weekly story!
-Drink Recipes- any special cocktails, shots, jell-o shots or even jungle juice that’s been created in a dark room of a college dorm, get it out, pick a name, and put your own little twist on it. Be sure to tell us everything and exactly what’s in it!
-Games- obviously we all know the basic games, but everyone has their own versions or different rules or maybe even a game that’s never been played off of your campus or outside your house. Tell us about it, and give us the rules and guidelines and even pictures if you have. Your game could be one used at our Beer Olympics.
-Themes- This is where we want to see some crazy theme ideas. Lights, costumes, decorations, so many different things could be done to spice up a party, tell us what you’ve done in the past or have seen that you thought was a cool idea. Pictures would be a plus for these too.
-DJ’s- Were looking to gain a large network of DJ’s for this website. We want to help you while you help us. DJ’s will not have anything to directly send us but only contact us and we will inquire with you about working with us and having your music uploaded onto our website and be available for download. Also we will discuss being able to advertise your skills to the public and help you book private, even large scale events.
-Social Media Admins- We only have so many hands and devices and can only be in so many places at once. We’re going to need a handful of people from around the country to run our Twitter posts, and our Snapchat. If you are in a college that likes to party, there’s a good chance we will let you run our page for a week or two at a time. Shoot us an inquiry about being an administrator.
-LADIES- But what is a party company without a small line of booty shorts with our name on it? We will be needing models for a little further down the road to show off our name. If you’re interested in being a paid model for BYOS please contact us and we will give you guidelines and requirements.
