Why Being An Only Child Comes In Handy At College (2)

5. You’re not afraid to try new things- You were probably put through every activity growing up, so you want to try even more new things in college because you want to meet new people and break out of your comfort zone.

4. You’re comfortable talking to your professors- You’ve gotten used to talking to so many adults growing up that you’ll probably only come across one or two professors that scare you.

3. You’re really responsible- You’re not generally the person to go crazy when you out or leave your homework to the very last minute because you are really self aware. You’re also a mom to your friends sometimes even when they don’t want it.

2. You can figure most things out on your own- You do ask other people for help sometimes, but it’s almost second nature to try yourself first because asking mom and dad was the last resort.

1. But you also have super close friends that you treat like siblings- You still get the fun of living with someone else and having some arguments, but you love your friends like you were blood related and are basically a part of their families too.
