In honor of Stars Wars: The Force Awakens coming out December 18th, it’s only right that I make a post about one of my favorite movie franchises. Those of us that are currently in college were born in the 90s so we weren’t even born when the movies first started coming out, but that doesn’t mean we can’t relate to them. From Darth Vader to light sight sabers, Star Wars is a timeless classic that people of all ages can enjoy and bond over.
So without further ado, I give you 10 Star Wars photos and GIFs that perfectly sum up college life.
10. When you and your friends go to a party, but one of them wants to stay behind. Luke has it right – you can’t just leave a friend behind. If you and your friends decide to go out together, you always make sure you leave together. There’s no telling what could happen if one of you gets left behind.
9. When you realize college is a lot harder than you thought. Even Obi-Wan Kenobi knows that sometimes you just have those days where you don’t know what to do but rethink everything.
8. When something you do actually goes right. You can just channel the young Anakin Skywalker within you anytime things work out in your favor. He may not be as excited about things as an adult, but growing up isn’t that fun anyways.
7. When you look at your test and don’t recognize anything. Your situation may not be as serious as the one that Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker are in, but that doesn’t make it any better.
6. When your roommate walks in the door and announces they’re back from the bar or a party. There’s a very distinctive smell that lingers on people when they’ve been out at a party or a bar. Princess Leia isn’t afraid to be sassy about it, so you shouldn’t either.
