Financial services site The Motley Fool has put out a telling graphic that charts the most expensive cities in the U.S. based on data from a recently released report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Ranking the cities according to cost of housing (including expenditures on furnishings, utilities, supplies, operations and shelter), there’s a surprising number one at the top of the list: The nation’s capital.
