“There’s a party everyday!  If you look hard enough, you’ll always be able to find one!”

Sure, there is a big throwdown every once in a while – every other weekend at best – however, the real small campus “parties” are actually a lot more like drinking with your two friends that decided not to go home for the weekend.  Sure, it might not sound fun in writing, but there’s something about the smallness of it that creates a bond that cannot ever be matched in a crowded room with loud music.

That being said, it takes a special kind of person to thrive at small schools, and for some people it may seem smothering.  However, for other people, coming back after each summer is like going home, and they couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
