Texas Tech’s Phi Gamma Delta has been suspended after “a photograph of a partially nude female Texas Tech student was taken by a man who pledged the fraternity in the fall of 2013.”

Via KCBD:

“The letter says, “It is without dispute, that the photograph was taken by a man who has never been initiated into the Fraternity.”

The letter says the incident happened in March 2013 while the student was on Spring Break in Alabama.

“It was taken in Alabama and was disseminated by him to others, including not only FFiji’s but also members of other fraternities via the Internet. The chapter in no way whatsoever sanctioned the events in Alabama that were attended by only a few brothers as well as others with no association whatsoever with the Fraternity.”
