What Happens When You Bake Ben & Jerry’s

It was on a very sober night when Andy Kryza was eating some Ben & Jerry’s half baked ice cream (aka chocolate chip cookie dough) when he had a thought; what would happen if you bake the little dough balls that are in the ice cream?

He wondered, would they bake? Would they taste good? Or would they flop and not bake at all?

So, he went through the rest of his pint and picked out roughly 20 little pieces of cookie dough and put them on a cookie sheet as usual. He was very cautious while doing this experiment because he tried this once before with the cookie dough bites you get at move theaters and they didn’t bake at all.

But, to his surprise the cookie dough from the ice cream baked! They looked liked regular cookies and tasted like regular cookies. They were just a tad deflated due to the lack of chocolate chips.

Overall though it is safe to say that Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t flake on their product and their cookie dough is 100% real. With Ben & Jerry’s you can have your ice cream and cookies too!

Who would have thought?
