1.The Group Picture- This picture consists of everyone you’re probably going out with on that given night. Everyone is dressed and ready to go. These are essential in most groups of girls, and even guys love the occasional group pic, which is probably going to be captioned, “The Crew” or, “My Boys.”
2. The Laughing Picture- Let’s just get one thing straight, before this picture was taken one girl probably said, “Ok someone say something funny and make us laugh.” The attempt is to look like you’re having a great time and you’re all the best of friends laughing together. Only a few of these pictures are actually candid, the rest are carefully staged just like the finale of The Hills.
3. The #TBT Picture- Throwback Thursday pictures are typically really old throwbacks or pictures from the previous summer. It only happens once a week so you have 7 days to search and find the funniest, or best TBT you want to share with the world. In the event pictures from your awkward middle school days surface, be prepared.
4. The Boyfriend/Girlfriend Picture- If you’re in a relationship chances are you’ve done this. These pictures usually rack in 60+ likes because everyone loves a cute looking couple. Typically captioned with heart-eye emoji’s or a simple smiley face, whatever your little heart desires.
5. The “Reunited” Picture- Have you recently seen some long lost friends?? Well you better snap a pic and Instagram it!! The world needs to know you’re all back together, because let’s face it… if you don’t upload a picture then it never really happened.
6. The Selfie- Did you get a new haircut? Are you simply having a good day? Or are you just feeling confident? If you have answered yes to any of these questions on any given day, then you’re most likely going to take a selfie. Girls love selfies, well most girls anyways. A cute picture paired with a random emoji is the route most girls take when uploading a selfie (Not sure why). Anyways, press the finish button and just wait for the likes/comments to be pouring in because, other girls love liking selfies as well.
7. The Inspirational Quote Picture- These are uploaded when people find a quote they love and want to share with everyone! They’re usually inspirational or inspiring quotes with a nice vibrant filter so they stand out. I don’t know when or where this started, but it’s a thing so might as well join in, right?
8. The Classic Pic-stitch- Whether it’s a pic-stitch of you wishing your BFF a happy birthday, or a bunch of pictures from your fall semester of college, you’ve probably done this. It’s a great way to share multiple pictures without taking over someone’s Instagram feed. Be sure to keep an eye out for the classic Transformation Tuesday pic-stitch’s that started popping up last year, those can get quite entertaining.
