Students Trapped in Elevator Lighten Things Up With Aerosmith

Life is all about making the best of bad situations, right? And if you’ve ever attended a small school with a lot of students, you know that elevator life is definitely not the most comfortable of situations. Sometimes, they’re crowded. Sometimes, they stop at every floor. And sometimes, dear God, they trap you, leaving you to pass each waking moment wondering if the cable will snap. Because THAT’s logical, right?

Earlier this week, students at the University of West England in Bristol faced this unnerving situation. Drunk and on the way to the bar, nine students were trapped in a school elevator for over an hour. While some may panic in a situation like this, the students decided to lighten the mood by singing/screaming the song “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith. And it was pretty hilarious and surprisingly heartwarming.

Reddit user Bumblesquash filled us in on what exactly happened, saying that one of the girls started panicking by the time they were released. It just goes to show that no matter how wasted you are, you can always count on your best friends to calm you down with a little classic rock.
