Donald Trump is the type of guy the media is magnetically attracted to. Love him or hate him, when this guy opens his mouth, nothing but racial slurs and other offensive gobbledygook come out, and that is a story that writes itself. With that being said, realize that the order of the following WTF Donald Trump moments is completely arbitrary. To try to organize these into any meaningful order is nearly impossible. They are all terrible.
10.) Harassed Obama Over His “Fake” Birth Certificate
Trump launched an all out assault on Obama in an attempt to negate the validity of his birth certificate. Trump has even tweeted “An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that @BarackObama‘s birth certificate is a fraud.” Donald Trump became the undoubted face of the “birther” movement and took it to extremes no one else could hope to match, such as reportedly sending private investigators to Hawaii to verify the birth. He even went the conspiracy route, tweeting “How amazing, the State Health Director who verified copies of Obama’s ‘birth certificate’ died in plane crash today. All others lived” Obama had a pretty good sense of humor about the whole debacle, however, saying “This all dates back to when we were growing up in Kenya. We had constant run-ins on the soccer field, he wasn’t very good and resented it. When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over.”
9.) The John Mccain Incident
John Mccain spent five years in a war prison being repeatedly tortured, and at least two of those years were spent in solitary confinement. So naturally Trump needed to belittle the situation by saying, “He’s not a war hero…He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
8.) Claims Women Want To Wear Burkas So They Don’t Have To Wear Make Up
Donald Trump has been called many things over the course of the last couple of years, but culturally aware is definitely not one of them. Trump is quoted as saying “Then I saw women interviewed. They said, ‘We want to wear them. We’ve worn them for a thousand years. Why would anyone tell us not to?’ They want to! What the hell are we getting involved for? Fact it’s easier. You don’t have to put on make-up. Look at how beautiful everyone looks. Wouldn’t it be easier? Right? Wouldn’t that be easy?”
7.) Mimicking A Disabled Reporter
At a rally in South Carolina Donald Trump mimicked a disabled writer, while using his article to back an assertion he made about thousands of Muslims celebrating the 9/11 attacks. Although the reporter claims to have known Trump before the incident, Donald denies having any knowledge that the reporter was disabled, saying “Despite having one of the all-time great memories I certainly do not remember him.”
6.) Calling Mexican Immigrants “Rapists
The comments made in regards to Mexican immigrants was one of Trump’s first big shockers after becoming a presidential candidate, and still yet, one of the most talked about. Trump, famously (and ignorantly,) stated “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” The incident has even caused such an uproar that Donald Trump piñatas have become a hit in Mexico!
