Eventually you will be faced with the option of skipping a class – It WILL happen. Not that it’s recommended, but it will not be the end of the world if you miss a class, just don’t do it often! Keep in mind that, while skipping school is fun, posting about it might bite you in the ass in the future (cool story, bro)!

Social Media Stupidity
Being independent is great, and maybe you want to share all of the fun you had over the weekend with your friends! However, it is very important to keep your digital image squeaky clean, so that when a recruiter looks at your profile, they aren’t discouraged. Any upperclassman would tell you the same thing! Share your fun moments with buddies over a group chat app, like Quad, to keep your conversations personal and private!

So many freshmen just don’t realize how great meal plan is until you are no longer on it. Make sure that, as the school year goes on, you are taking advantage of the cash on your account – Even if it means treating yourself every now and then to a coffee, use it ALL up!
