The 5 Reasons To Always Give Second Chances
Everyone makes mistakes. Though some wounds are deeper than others, you should always try and forgive others. Discover why second chances are important.

It’s hard to think we would ever give second chances, especially when someone screws you over. What does it mean to really screw up?  I’m pretty sure we have all been there and hated it. That being said, what does it mean to give a second chance? Sometimes it is easy and sometimes it’s really not. When someone we care about or love hurts us, we’re often too afraid to share ourselves or to trust again. Usually the first step is forgiving that person and trying to move on. You try to imagine how that person must feel for betraying your trust and sympathize with the guilt they must be experiencing because they hurt you. Though it’s a case to case basis, you should always try to give someone a second chance, especially when it wasn’t their intention to hurt you. You have probably been on their end and would hope that someone would forgive you and give you the chance you deserve to prove yourself again as someone they can trust.

Just in case you needed a little motivation to forgive and move on, here are five reasons to always give a second chance:

5) People can be massive screw ups, but that doesn’t mean they meant to hurt you.  Good people make bad choices sometimes and don’t realize the negative consequences of their actions. Even though they messed up, innately you know they’re a good person and probably deserve another shot.

4) Second chances allow you both to positively move on.  It is a weight off of your shoulders and your heart. It’s a heavy feeling when you stay angry at someone you care about. Though things may never be the same, learn to forgive even if it’s just for yourself. If they they truly care about you, they’ll do whatever it takes to earn your forgiveness.
