The one that disappears when you go out
As soon as this friend gets into the bar or through the doors of a party, they’re gone. Totally disappeared. You spend all night texting or calling them but you’re left with no response from them. Your only option left is to leave without them and hope they end up back at home. And believe me, they always do. Normally they arrive in the back of a sketchy pickup truck or dropped off by a cab filled with people you don’t know, and they always call you at 4am asking you to let them into the building.
The thoughtful friend
I’m lucky enough to surround myself with some of the most generous and caring people, so there are many thoughtful friends in my friend group. They’re the people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, go the extra mile to make you smile, and know you inside out. These are some of the most important friends you will ever make.
