I go to the gym just about everyday, and some times it is the most eventful part of my day. I would say I am a “gym rat,” or even remotely close. However, since I overload on carbs, I need to run a few miles and do some squats to help myself out.
Whether it is the people I see or the raging cramp in my side when I get passed one mile, I usually always have a story to tell my roommates when I get home.
10. “Goodbye, roomies. I’m off to the gym.”
9. One aggressive, not-relatable rap song in.
I do not understand exactly what Jay-Z is saying. I relate to none of it, but I am now ready to run a few miles.
8. When the treadmill says, “Enter weight for accurate calories.”
Ok, I am feeling attacked right now.
7. Three aggressive rap songs and one mile in…
I like to keep a visual image of the Victoria’s Secret models walking down the runway at this point in the run. Sometimes it keeps me going.
6. Post-treadmill unstable walking, trying to get to the free weights.
I usually have to take a moment to remind myself how to walk on a floor that does not move beneath me.
