Have you ever really thought about why you find a certain person attractive? Why the most desired boy in high school is this big hot-shot that everyone knows, the biggest frat star on greek row is the same guy every freshman is dying to sleep with, or why everyone falls head over heels for a man that really knows what he’s talking about? Why it’s always the bitchiest, most stuck up, or obnoxiously vocal girls guy go for? Confidence is attractive. It’s embedded in all of us to find these types of people desirable. Starting at a young age we’re all taught those that are mean to you are mean because they “like” you or have a crush on you. Young men and women of today’s generations tear themselves down and beat themselves up over not feeling “wanted”, finding reasons such as not being good-looking enough, not smart enough, or not funny, witty enough being responsible for their lack of desirableness. Oh what a common misconception.
