In today’s society, there seems to be an incredibly confusing, hypocritical counter-culture movement occurring on social media, in which individuals deem certain media acceptable to consume, or unacceptable. Selfies are taking a huge hit from these unfounded restrictions.
My questions for you, Baseball Announcers and those who agreed with their disdain for these women:
Why does it hurt you so much to see a group of women who are confident in their appearance, that want to share an experience with their friends? Furthermore, are you aware an ‘unfollow’ button does, in fact, exist on the majority of social media sites?
Does mocking them for wanting to capture a photo of their friend’s first, second, or third churro bite make you feel better about yourself?
