Your Summary of Freshman Year as Told By Parks and Recreation

We can all agree that Parks and Recreation is the ultimate show; it’s relatable and it’s hilarious. Therefore, it is perfect to compare Parks and Recreation to your freshmen year of college.

You’re a freshmen, so obviously you think you’re on top of the world. That means you still have money to spend (or at least you think you do). I recommend saving your money, I promise it will benefit you in the near future (aka more pizza).

You have a love/hate relationship when it comes to meeting new people. You think you’re either super awkward or too out-going. But you’re making friends, so it’s okay.

For the first couple of weeks, the dining hall is the greatest thing to have ever happened to you. Then, you realize that you eat the same meal everyday.

And you will learn that the dining hall food probably has laxatives in it. tumblr_nxdfyn3xfs1togmudo1_500

You have absolutely no idea what you want to do when you grow up. You can’t tell if you hate your major or you love it, but either way you’re sick and tired of hearing people tell you that you don’t have to know right now or that you’re still young. That doesn’t matter because you’re still stressed as fuck.

Ever since move in day, you’ve been sick. Your throat hurts for a week and once you think you’re all better, you find out you have strep. The best part is that your health services at college probably accomplish the minimum they could do to try to help you. College is fun.
