I played football for eight years, so when I started school, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of a huge-name football team. It wasn’t like a game at Ohio State or Alabama. But once you get past the fact that the crowd is a tenth the size of a Big Ten team, you start to notice that it is still a ton of fun. After the end of the first season, I gladly said I did not miss a single home game. After comparing my experience to a lot of my friends’, there were a lot of similarities about what went through our heads during the games. In fact, there were about thirteen similarities…
13…Starting first with how the weather quickly changed week to week. The first game of the season everyone showed up thinking that we would lose a few people in the crowd to heat stroke.
12. By the third home game, the weather was perfect, and the crowd was actually comfortable during the game.
11. That awesome weather seemed to last exactly one weekend. By the next one, frostbite had magically become a huge issue.
