As an English major myself, perhaps I’m a bit biased. But since I work in the Writing Center on campus, these are really starting to pop up lately. So, with that being said, here are five really easy ways to annoy an English major.
Most of these things are just laziness. That’s why they’re so annoying. Come on, people.
Obviously, this isn’t everything that will annoy one of us – I didn’t even get to things like your vs. you’re. they’re vs. there vs. their, etc. But I wanted to let people know little known pet peeves of English majors.
