5 Reasons Why University of New Hampshire is The Most Underrated College

WAIT.… If you don’t know what www.universityprimetime.com is by now, get your head straight, SERIOUSLY. It’s kind of the hottest college website in the world right now, so give us a LIKE on Facebook —> HERE and give us a FOLLOW on Twitter/Instagram–> @UPrimetime. You won’t regret it. We have some awesome giveaways in the near future!

1.     Hockey Games

The hockey team at the University of New Hampshire is really good, but the school spirit is better. Once UNH makes their first goal, a dead fish is always thrown onto the ice. Students yell chants at the away team. Guys paint their bodies and students make signs. If you go to any UNH sporting game, it’s men’s hockey, usually intoxicated, but that just makes it more fun for everyone.

2.     Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo should be renamed and called Cinco de UNH. The 5th of May is a new insane day drinking event that will become tradition for the UNH campus. Waking up at 8 AM on the last day of classes to drink all day is one of the best decisions of my life. Cars can’t get on Frat Row because there are thousands of students in the streets and outside all Frat houses. When most campuses start studying for finals on Cinco de Mayo, UNH goes ham and goes to class with a bottle of wine, waking up hungover and loving the whole day that you do not even remember.

3.     Freddy Special

Everyone knows what a Freddy Special is. From Campus Convenience, or Campco, it’s the meal of chicken and a various array of sauces that ends up being bought every drunken night. It is the best meal ever made and brought to our campus.

4.     Young Drive

Young Drive is one of the furthest roads that you walk to at UNH to party, but it is totally worth it. Once you leave your own dorm or apartment, the 28-minute walk is a breeze because of all the alcohol already in your system. If the walk ever seems long, make sure you bring a water bottle filled of vodka to chug to make the walk more bearable.

5.     Sports Riots

UNH is now known for rioting the Wednesday night the Red Sox won the World Series against the Cardinals. Drunken students ran into downtown Main Street, jumped on cars and climbed up lampposts. Cops came down on horseback and pepper sprayed the rioters. It’s just proof how hard we party, and it shouldn’t have been any other way.
