10 Reasons You Should Move Off Campus
Say goodbye to dorm life and hello to finally calling a place your own (with your friends, of course). Here are 10 reasons why you should move off campus.

When you move away to college, you look forward to finally living on your own, even if it’s with 20 0ther people in the dorms. Living in the dorms is a great way to meet new people and make new friends, especially when you’re nervous freshman finally experiencing what it feels like to be away from home. Dorm rooms have a certain charm about them, but at some point in your college career you might want to move off campus. After your freshman or even sophomore year for some, it’s always better to move off campus and experience what it’s like to really live on your own. Because we all know that living in the dorms still qualifies as the staff still cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming the hallways even though you’re doing your own laundry. Living off campus doesn’t mean you’re far away; you can find a place with your friends that is still near school, if not closer.

Here are 10 reasons why you should totally move off campus:

10. Experience
You have the opportunity to practice living in the real world without having to be in the real world. You can get used to some of the responsibilities of having your own house but you can still be the irresponsible college student that you love being.

9. There are No Rules
You can basically do anything in your house without getting caught. As long as you aren’t so loud that the neighbors call in noise complaints, you can have fun without any repercussions. Also, you don’t ever have to wear pants.
