Just because you’re in college doesn’t mean you have to grow up completely. With bills, rent, and work to worry about, sometimes it’s even healthy to let your inner child shine. Here are twenty signs you never really grew up and why your 20’s are exactly the right time to be an anti-grownup.
20. Harry Potter is still your favorite book. And movie. And okay, everything.
19. And you have at least one bit of Potterhead merchandise.
18. Playing video games with friends is still your idea of a good Saturday night.
17. But you always forget to call your parents before you go to bed.
16. And when you do, it’s to tell them you’re sick and to ask for advice.
15. You know that Frisbee and tanning on a sunny day is way cooler than brunch.
14. And you just can’t wait for the next Marvel movie to come out.
13. But every time you watch one, you spend the next hour debating how the new Spiderman movies are better than the old ones
12. The homepage on your laptop is stuck on Netflix.
11. And your ‘previously watched’ is just full of old Friends re-runs.
10. You obsessively check Tumblr and Twitter in class.
9. And abandon everything to buy concert tickets under your desk before they sell out.
8. Your idea of buying fruit is two boxes of Gushers.
7. And pizza counts as a vegetable, right?
6. You still scream every time you get your bank statement.
5. But you are endlessly amazed by your paycheck.
4. And spend it all on clothes
3. You want to know about everything, and you’re still learning.
2. But you know that’s okay because getting stuck in your ways is for when you’re older.
1. So for now, you’re absorbing it all, taking in life as it comes, and that’s alright; it’s what college is for.
