The new season of American Horror Story started on October 7th, and it left everyone a little shook up. It’s definitely looking like the scariest season yet – and the most gruesome. Yet, there’s something a lot scarier coming around the corner for most college students that will keep them up at night. That terrifying event, my friends, is midterms. We all when they’re coming (it’s typically on the syllabus) but for some reason, we always find ourselves not as prepared for them.
Here’s the 22 stages of having to take midterms. Try not to get too scared.
22. When your professor announces that the midterm is coming up in a week or two, and you don’t think anything of it, everything is under control.
1-2 weeks is plenty of time. Plus you learn a lot of stuff while you’re in class right? No biggie.
21.The next class you get the review sheet, and you don’t recognize anything on it.
All of a sudden you’ve covered 4 chapters and all of it doesn’t make sense anymore.
20. So instead of studying the material you don’t know, you party.
What better way to distract yourself than partying with classmates who hopefully did the review sheet and are willing to share.
19. And find other ways to procrastinate.
All of a sudden, today is the perfect day to color code your closet and match all of your socks.
