As I walk through my campus, I notice more and more man buns and have formed my own opinions about them. Before I thought man buns were only reserved for the hipster population but every time I turn around, I see another one with their luscious locks tied up (neatly or sloppily – depends on how skilled they are) into a bun at the top of their head. It’s the guy on the football team, your friend down the hallway in the dorms, the random in your class…man buns are everywhere.
It seems to be the popular trend amongst young men today, but how do people REALLY feel about them? Sometimes the general public’s opinion can be swayed because it’s what cool but more than often you have to directly ask people to get the real deal. I interviewed 10 students to ask them about their honest opinion and here’s how they felt:
