The 7 Life Lessons We Have Learned From “That 70s Show”

“That 70s Show” gave us eight seasons of hijinks, innuendos, and laughs.  Throughout it all this cast of characters shows us that sometimes being a teenager sucks, no matter the decade you grow-up in, but sometimes it’ll bring you a great group of friends and a ton of memories.  Here are just a few of the life lessons we have learned from the gang:

7) Not everything you go through will be easy or the most enjoyable.  From time to time life happens and it trips you up and lands you flat on your back.  But that’s okay because sometimes these bad things bring about new experiences and they will teach you something about yourself.

6) Having a SO is super fun but never ever let go of any of your friends because of him/her.  Your friends will always be there for you, even when your significant other isn’t.  There will never be a person worth losing your friends over, just remember that.

5) Growing up almost instantly equals making back choices, and that really is okay.  Accept the fact that you screwed up, learn from that bad decision, and move forward.  Just make sure to listen to your parents because yes, you are being a dumbass.

4) There is never a reason to keep yourself feeling sad.  Sad things are unavoidable in life.  What is unavoidable is holding onto feeling upset about what has happened.  Give yourself time to come to terms with those emotions and then move on.  There is nothing healthy about maintaining that sadness.
