Attention Fellow Drinkers: These Are All Drinking Myths (2)

5. Drinking kills brain cells – Even though our judgement and behavior is going to change, your brain cells are fine.

4. Eating before you go to sleep will prevent a hangover – Late night food runs always seem like the right thing to do at 3 a.m., but truth is, it’s not going to make you feel any better in the morning. So enjoy the grease now, because you may be seeing it again in the morning.

3. Drinking + Energy Drinks will make you more drunk – Caffeine will not enhance the effects of alcohol on your body. It is easy to feel more drunk when you have a buzz and energy rush happening at the same time.

2. Taking aspirin or ibuprofen before heavy drinking will stop a hangover – We all wish that we could just pop a little pill and then enjoy a night of drinking without any consequences. The downside is, the effects of the medicine will wear off long before your pounding headache starts.

1. Drinking will increase your skills in the bedroom – When you’re really drunk, don’t even try. You will just embarrass yourself because alcohol stops the blood flow in the areas that you need.
