Sure, some lectures are really interesting when you’re excited about the topic, but when it’s something like the history of math you tend to lose the professor somewhere in the middle. You know its bad when you start thinking about the homework you’d rather be doing.
10. The initial “I can do it!” thoughts- You tell yourself it’s not that long of a class; it’s only an hour and a half, how bad can it be?
9. When you start to realize it’s going to be a long class- Sips coffee cup #2. 
8. You start drawing pictures of flowers- You’re bored/lost anyway, might as well do something.
7. Constantly looking at the clock- Okay, there are only 6 10 minutes left in class.
6. Leaving for a long stroll to the bathroom/water fountain- You think this five minute break will refresh your brain and when you go back to class you’ll be able to handle it again.
