8.) Getting lost in UHall
University Hall is one of the oldest building on the main campus, and reflects so with it’s extravagance and gothic beauty. But holy hell is the inside of that building difficult to navigate. Only some elevators reach the certain floors, and if you want to get to the first floor from the fifth floor, you need to realize you’ll be taking both the stairs and the elevator. They also recently renumbered a lot of the rooms. So if you thought you knew where UH 5168 was, think again and hopefully you’re not in a hurry because it’ll take you some time to reroute yourself.
7.) Foreign Professors
Diversity is an important aspect to the University of Toledo and we celebrate the fact that we have the chance to interact with different types of people from all around the world. However, if you’re sitting in the lecture hall of your 250+ students and your professor has an accent so thick you can’t decipher if he’s saying “s” or “r,” say goodbye to that B- and hello to a D+. Say hi to all the hours you spent in SI sessions getting retaught by students for me while you’re at it.
