6. Exec: So, this is mostly controversial to those who are in an actual sorority. The thing about the Executive Board (Standards) is that it does push many to want to take on leadership roles which obviously are huge learning opportunities, even if it is just to be the HBIC.
5. Philanthropy: Joining a sorority does make you see things in a different way, even if it’s because you’re forced to. When it really comes down to it though, they all make a huge difference for the lives of those who need them, and sororities donate a lot of money and time to their philanthropies.
4 Starbucks, or really anything basic: Basic in general is a terrible word to describe someone. Everyone is unique in their own way, and that’s what you learn from spending so much time wit so many girls. While some sororities may have a lot of sisters that look alike, we al have different goals in life and come from different places and in the end, we could all learn/gain something from one another that we may not have on our own.
