He was nice, funny, super cute… And a Nationals fan. You know it is not even worth pursuing him because there will be way too many unnecessary arguments between you two if something did work out. You do not need that stress in your life. Additionally, some teams seem to attract certain personality types. If you do not like that team, you probably will not end up liking his personality.
3. Not having many people to express my excitement with.
When your team wins on a buzzer-beater during rivalry week, it is natural to jump up and yell with excitement as your adrenaline is rushing. But who do you high five? Do you run into your housemate’s room and wake her up? No, she probably would not be too pleased with that. So, you text your dad in all caps, hoping the excitement translates.
